Hello, I’m Neil.
I’m an evolutionary astrologer in Brentwood, Essex. Before that I spent 27 years in the RAF, then moved into project and consultancy work. Not the usual route into astrology! So how did I get here? Read on, or skip straight to the readings.
A life of structure, before a life of soul
The RAF gave me structure, discipline and some brilliant friends. It taught me to plan, to turn up on time and to stay calm when things went wrong. In 2003 I spent 77 consecutive eighteen-hour days helping rebuild Basra airfield. But somewhere along the way I realised that being good at my job wasn’t the same as being happy in it. Sound familiar?
Joined the RAF, aged 17
The story’s on my Soul Crossroads page.

Reflective, grounded and structured
I have approached evolutionary astrology in the same way I have approached the most important things in my life: seriously, respectfully, and with the intention of mastering it over time. I’m interested in how people change: a new career, a marriage ending, a move abroad.
What’s a reading with me actually like? A long, friendly chat where I’ve done the homework first. I’ll explain everything in plain English, check it against your real life, and tell you when I’m not sure. Want the full picture? Have a look at how I work.
The teachers who refined the path
Steven Forrest has been the single most important influence on my approach, not only through his teaching of Evolutionary Astrology, but the spirit in which he teaches it: psychologically aware, spiritually grounded, and always respectful of the soul’s unfolding. I am proud to be a member of his FCEA Master Astrologer Degree Programme from which I hope to graduate in March 2027.
Other voices have helped me as well to refine my knowledge into a rich body of wisdom, which I hope to honour, synthesise and pass on in a way that is both grounded and alive. The works of these authors and mentors that have shaped my understanding can be found in the Astrology Library.
